1. GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

LUGELA is a natural highly mineralized therapeutic drinking water of chloride-calcium type, extracted from the homonymous source in the Lugela gorge, Georgia.

LUGELA is an independent subject of long-term scientific research. Its natural mineral composition, physicochemical properties, pharmacological effects, and medical application areas have been studied in monographs, dissertations, experimental works, clinical observations, and scientific publications.

The high mineralization determines a special mode of use: LUGELA is taken in precise dosage and in established courses. The water is not intended for quenching thirst or unlimited consumption.

2. NATURAL MINERAL COMPOSITION

LUGELA represents a holistic natural highly mineralized complex. Its properties are determined not by a single separate element, but by the composition, concentration, ratio, and interaction of natural mineral components.

Chemical and laboratory research data from various years revealed the following substances in LUGELA:

According to chemical studies of different years, the total mineralization values of specific LUGELA samples varied. One published analysis indicated a value of 42.1 g/l. In the test protocol of FMBA Russia No. 1875/04.23 dated April 21, 2023, for the studied sample of water from well No. 1, total mineralization was recorded at 39.0 g/l. Differences in these values reflect results of studies of specific samples and do not contradict documents.

4. METHOD OF USE AND DOSAGE

Before each use, the bottle must be shaken well.

In the standard mode, LUGELA is taken undiluted. After intake, the established dose is flushed down with 40–50 ml of warm drinking water. Special dilution schemes for stomach and duodenal diseases are given in the relevant section of the instructions.

Adults

Take 10 ml of LUGELA 3 times a day after meals.

The single dose should not exceed 10 ml. The interval between intakes should be at least 5 hours.

Standard monthly course: 4 bottles of LUGELA.

Children from 3 to 9 years old

Take 5 ml of LUGELA 3 times a day after meals with intervals of at least 5 hours.

Standard monthly course: 2 bottles of LUGELA.

Children under 3 years old

The single dose is 3 drops of LUGELA, diluted in water or food and taken during feeding. Frequency and course duration for infants and early childhood are determined individually.

Course duration

The standard course duration is 30 days. Repeat course or dosage changes are determined individually.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy and breastfeeding are not contraindications listed in LUGELA scientific materials. In these periods, LUGELA is used at the dosage established by instructions, considering the woman's individual state and recommendations of the attending specialist.

5. TIME OF INTAKE

Standard regimen

LUGELA is taken after meals at the established age dosage.

30 minutes before breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it is recommended to drink 1–2 glasses of warm drinking water.

After meals, take the established dose of LUGELA and flush down with 40–50 ml of warm drinking water.

For stomach and duodenal diseases

For gastritis, peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum, intake time and dilution degree of LUGELA are determined considering diagnosis, acidity, and disease period.

6. EXTERNAL USE

Scientific, clinical, and methodological materials describe external use of LUGELA:

  • for rinsing mouth and throat;
  • for skin treatment;
  • for local applications;
  • for treating inflamed and damaged areas;
  • for mucous membrane treatment by specialized methodology.

External application can be combined with internal course intake of LUGELA.

Specific method, concentration, duration, and frequency of external application are determined by the relevant direction and described in a specialized article.

Special ophthalmological, gynecological, urological, and rectal methods are not included in the general drinking instruction and are used only with separate specialized methodology.

7. RECOMMENDATIONS ON DIET AND REGIMEN

Drinking regimen

To maintain water-salt balance and observe the established course regimen, it is recommended to:

  • drink 1–2 glasses of warm drinking water 30 minutes before breakfast, lunch, and dinner;
  • take LUGELA at the established dosage after meals and flush down with 40–50 ml of warm water;
  • avoid food and other drinks for 1–1.5 hours after intake;
  • then drink at least 200 ml of warm drinking water;
  • maintain sufficient drinking regimen throughout the day.

With heart or kidney diseases, tendency to edema, or established fluid restrictions, daily volume is determined individually.

Dietary recommendations

During the course, it is recommended to:

  • limit added sugar and sugar-containing products;
  • limit yeast bakery products;
  • limit industrial dairy products with high sugar and additives content;
  • reduce refined oils, fried, and excessively fatty food;
  • include vegetables, greens, fruits, and other natural products in diet;
  • avoid overeating;
  • follow an individual therapeutic diet if prescribed by a specialist.

Balanced nutrition and sufficient drinking regimen are part of the overall LUGELA usage course.

Do not increase the established dosage independently.

8. CONTRAINDICATIONS AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Contraindications to LUGELA use are:

  • hypercalcemia;
  • individual intolerance to components of the natural mineral composition.

If hypercalcemia or individual intolerance is present, LUGELA is not used.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, infant and early childhood, kidney diseases, and certain endocrine system disorders are presented in LUGELA scientific materials as application areas, not absolute contraindications.

In cases of marked kidney function impairment, calcium, mineral, or electrolyte metabolism disorders, intake mode and drinking load are determined individually. Do not increase dosage independently.

Depending on application area, LUGELA is used as an independent natural therapeutic factor or as a component of complex therapeutic and rehabilitation program.

In case of an established disease, use of LUGELA is not a basis for canceling prescribed diagnostics, drug therapy, or other necessary treatment methods.

Natural mineral sediment formation is allowed. Presence of sediment is not a sign of product quality deterioration.

Before each use, the bottle must be shaken well.

10. STORAGE CONDITIONS

Store in original packaging at temperatures from +3 °C to +30 °C.
